Wholesale dealers in the city have been permitted to sell vegetables at various sites around the district on the order of the Kamrup (M) district administration.
It is worth noting that the closing of the Pamohi Fruits and Vegetables wholesale market has resulted in a major increase in the price of fruits and vegetables in the city due to shortages. Meanwhile, the Guwahati Subdivision Marketing Committee will oversee the city’s vegetable sales, which will be regulated by the Directorate of Horticulture and Agriculture marketing body.
