Azara Police Busted Bike Lifters Gang in Guwahati

Guwahati’s Azara Police detained five members of a motorcycle lifters’ gang. Additionally, the police confiscated two bikes that had been stolen from various locations in the area.

According to the police, on May 16, a youth traveling towards Azara was intercepted by a police patrol team. However, the police had to pursue the perpetrator after he refused to halt and was arrested near the Jalukbari junction.

Md. Samar Ali alias Babu Ali was apprehended. Interrogation showed that he received the bike from one of his aides, who was later arrested with the assistance of Hatigaon Police. Md. Nuruddin Ali was apprehended (21 years).

Meanwhile, after the duo’s detention and confession, whole gangs of five participants were arrested in Assam’s Santoli and Uttar Rangapani districts.

Md. Hasen Ali (20 Years), Md. Hasem Ali (20 Years), and Md. Ejar Ali (20 Years) were the other detained people (24 Years). Meanwhile, the retrieved motorcycles are registered AS-01BU 1294 and AS-15K/1003.
