If Anganwadi personnel is not vaccinated, they will not be paid on a monthly basis: Assam’s chief minister. On Friday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma ordered district officials to withhold monthly pay. From Anganwadi employees who do not get the Covid vaccination injection.

According to an official statement, the Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioners to rigorously implement the rules issued about micro-containment zones in regions with a high incidence of positive.
He also ordered the DCs to maintain strict adherence to social distancing rules at vaccination camps. In order to halt the spread of Covid-19, in addition to ensuring that all frontline workers are fully getting the vaccine.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has created the idea of a ‘guardian minister’. And a ‘guardian secretary’ in order to reinvigorate the districts’ development narrative.
