If cricket is incomplete without a name, then that name is Sachin Tendulkar. Today this player gets respect all over the world. A similar view was seen in the United Arab Emirates where a stand at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium was named after Sachin Tendulkar.

To make Sachin’s 50th birthday even more special, UAE has gifted him. A special function was organized in Sharjah to give this gift.

The Master Blaster himself could not be present during the renaming ceremony of the Sachin Tendulkar Stand but the fans are more than happy with the gift from the UAE.

Sachin played two such innings in this stadium 25 years ago, due to which he is also known as Desert Storm.

Tendulkar scored 49 centuries in ODIs and played in 34 stadiums but his 7 centuries including at Sharjah Cricket Stadium is still appreciated and celebrated by his fans all over the world.
