Sikkim Additional Chief Secretary G P Upadhyaya has made the announcement that the state government has taken the decision to provide scholarships worth Rs. 47 lakhs to students under Chief Minister Civil Services Coaching Scheme.
The Chief Minister Civil Services Coaching Scheme was started to create an opportunity for 50 deserving IAS aspirants of Sikkim. These aspirants receive free coaching from ALS IAS, India’s largest IAS coaching network. The coaching network has more than 75 centers across India including 25 in North-East.
Exams for the scholarship will be conducted on January 31 in all District Headquarters of Sikkim under the supervision of District Collectors.
