Lovlina Borgohain is a female athlete (Welterweight Boxer) who represented India in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She won a bronze medal by coming third in the Walter Weight category in Tokyo Olympics.
Her professional boxing career starts from the 2018 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championship where she won a bronze medal for the first time. After that, she took part in the 2019 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships winning a bronze medal again.
Soon after the back-to-back success, Lovlina in 2020 qualified for Olympics by securing birth in the 69 kg category, defeating Uzbekistan Boxer Maftunakhon Melieva in Asia & Oceania Boxing Qualification Tournament.
