GOI has recently banned 59 China-based mobile App including the most popular TikTok, and UC Browser. Cited those apps have been violating terms in which are ‘ Prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India’ Defence of India.
Ministry of IT Technology stated many complaints had been received from various sources over the concerns about collecting user data in an unauthorized manner to the servers which have locations outside Country India. This is a targetted move to ensure the safety of Crores of Indian mobile and Internet users.
By welcoming the move, (CAIT) Confederation of All India Traders stated this is an unprecedented step and it will last a long way in strengthening the campaign of CAIT, “Boycott China“.
On Monday, In a Major discussion, the Government of India has banned 59 Chinese apps. Expected to be the worst-hit apps among them are– Tik Tok, Club Factory, Xiaomi, Cam Scanner, UC Browser because of the high volume of users.
