India is a ‘priest’ of peace, yet it is capable of responding appropriately to aggression. On Thursday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that although India is the “priest” of global peace. It has the capability and strength to respond appropriately to acts of aggression.

In dedicating the 20-kilometer Kimin-Potin double-lane road in Arunachal Pradesh. As well as 11 other strategic road projects constructed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in Arunachal Pradesh and other states. He states that any disruption of the peace and tranquillity in border areas is will have adverse consequences. The 12 vital routes would not only improve communication but would also allow for quicker military mobility along the international border, the defense minister said.

“The BRO’s capacity to assemble elite streets regardless of hindrances is troublesome. And precipitous territory epitomizes the motto of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” Singh added. The Defence Minister lauded the BRO’s commitment to the construction of roads. And other facilities in the country’s remote border regions, essentially dedicating the 12 new roads to the nation.

He reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to connecting all areas of the country to the broader national mainstream. In order to ensure that all citizens have an equal chance for development and prosperity.

Lt General Rajeev Chaudhry, Director General of BRO, spoke on the occasion, reiterating the BRO’s efforts toward the overall development of Arunachal Pradesh and thanking the state for helping the organization in ensuring the seamless development of infrastructure.

One road has been built in the Union Territory of Ladakh, another in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, and the rest in Arunachal Pradesh.

The inauguration ceremony was attend by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu. Union Minister of Sports Kiren Rijiju. Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, and top BRO and Army officers.

Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for North Eastern Development, was among the dignitaries who attended the event remotely.
