Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal Join Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Next Feature Film
Three Bollywood actors, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, have officially signed on to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming epic saga, Love & War.
The film’s announcement was made by the leads themselves on their social media platforms. It is scheduled to commence production soon and is set for a theatrical release on Christmas, 2025. Further details about the project are eagerly anticipated.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali, known for directing the hit biopic Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022), which starred Alia Bhatt, has a previous collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor on the actor’s debut feature, Saawariya (2007). Additionally, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt previously worked together in the acclaimed film Raazi (2018).
It is worth noting that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who are married with a daughter, last starred together in Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva (2022).
Upcoming Projects
In addition to Love & War, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also working on the grand period series Heeramandi, which explores the lives of courtesans in pre-independence India. This series is set to be streamed on Netflix.
