Unleash Fun-Filled Fitness at Bengaluru’s New BOUNCE Adventure Park

Bounce: An Indoor Adventure Park Filled with Adrenaline-Pumping Attractions

As I cautiously made my way to the top of the 10-foot high climbing wall at the Bounce indoor adventure park, a scene from The Dark Knight Rises flashed through my mind. I couldn’t help but think of Bruce Wayne’s death-defying leap as he escaped from an underground prison. My instructor, Nidhi Paradkar, encouraged me, shouting, “Sir, you just need to kick the wall and the harness rope will bring you down safely.”

As I peered down, my heart raced uncontrollably, feeling like a sledgehammer trying to break free from my chest. “Just kick the wall, sir,” Nidhi urged. My legs trembled with fear. “You just need to let go.”

After what felt like an eternity, I was still clinging to the wall like a determined lizard. Eventually, I managed to awkwardly climb down, my face blushing with embarrassment.

The recently opened Bounce indoor adventure park, located inside Orion Mall in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, offers an exciting array of over 20 attractions. These include a free-jump arena, high-performance area, x-park, zip line, wall climb, and more than 100 trampolines. With an impressive investment of ₹20 crore, Bounce spans 40,000 square feet, providing diverse activities for people of all ages, including fitness enthusiasts. Additionally, Bounce is the perfect venue for birthday parties, school excursions, and corporate events.

Originally an Australian brand, Bounce operates in 32 locations across 16 countries worldwide. In India, apart from Bengaluru, it has a center in Mumbai that opened its doors in 2019. There are plans to establish three more centers in the country, including in NCR, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad, next year.

While Bounce is primarily known for providing fun and entertainment (you’ll often see adults giggling and jumping around like toddlers), it is also a haven for fitness enthusiasts. Nidhi, one of the instructors at Bounce, discovered her passion for the park three years ago. “I have played basketball for the last 17 years. When I came across trampolines three years ago, it seemed like a good workout. I got hooked,” she reveals. Nidhi’s impressive skills in the trampoline arena, where she effortlessly performs somersaults and runs through walls, never fail to leave spectators in awe.

According to Sourav Pahi, a fitness enthusiast, Bounce surpasses the benefits provided by a traditional gym. “I recently moved to Bengaluru and was missing my gym. I was skeptical when I came here. I thought it was going to be easy. Once I started, I realized how much energy it requires… it is more tiring than a gym. Plus, it’s fun!” he exclaims.

Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, the chief business officer of Bounce Inc India, believes that the safety measures implemented at the indoor adventure park set it apart from others in the industry. All corners and edges are padded to minimize the risk of injuries. The Bounce Inc India team is thrilled with the response they have received in Bengaluru.

For those interested in experiencing the excitement of Bounce, entry prices range from ₹700 to ₹900 for an hour-long pass (varying by age group) and ₹900 to ₹1200 for a two-hour pass. Since its opening, the venue has witnessed over 20,000 hours of jumping, reflecting the enthusiasm and interest of visitors.

Bounce caters to a wide range of interests, offering activities for individuals seeking active movement or adrenaline-pumping adventures. Whether you prefer bouncing on the three different trampoline zones or if you’re looking for a thrill and want to learn some cool flips, Bounce’s instructors are always eager to assist. Some activities have minimum height requirements. However, as long as there are no major injuries or health concerns, everyone is encouraged to try out the various attractions. Age is no barrier at Bounce. Nidhi narrates an inspiring anecdote: “In the Mumbai center, we once had an 80-year-old wanting to try the Cliff Jump, basically free-falling from a six-foot high platform into a giant airbag. Even we were a bit apprehensive, but he did it!”

Inspired by this heartwarming story, I resolved to conquer my fear of heights. All I had to do was cross my hands over my chest and fall backward from a six-foot-high platform. It required no special skills, yet as I approached the edge, my legs trembled once again. Nidhi instructed me to breathe, stand still, and with a gentle push, I let go. In those exhilarating seconds, fear transformed into pure fun.
